Welcome to Minority Health Consortium (MHC)!
At MHC, we are committed to advancing health equity by providing education, support and linkage to compassionate care to individuals and families within our community. Our team aims to empower minority and underserved populations by addressing health disparities and promoting overall wellness.
Through programs focused on HIV prevention and care, STI/STD testing, PrEP navigation services, and comprehensive support, we strive to meet people where they are with dignity and respect. In partnership with community organizations, healthcare providers, and advocates, we work to reduce stigma, improve access to resources, and create healthier futures for all.
We invite you to explore our services, connect with our dedicated team, and join us in building stronger, healthier communities. Together, we can make a lasting impact.
WHAT TO EXPECT
The 3-Step Guide to Your Visit
-
Check-In & Privacy Review When you arrive, you’ll be greeted by a member of our team. If you haven't filled out your Intake Form online, we’ll provide a tablet or paper form. Everything you share with us is strictly confidential and protected by health privacy laws.
-
The Consultation You’ll meet privately with a healthcare navigator. This is a safe space to ask questions about PrEP, STI risks, or general wellness. We don’t just run tests; we provide education and support tailored to your specific needs.
-
Fast & Professional Testing If you are here for testing, the process is quick. Most STI and HIV tests involve a simple blood draw or swab. We focus on making the process as painless and efficient as possible so you can get back to your day with peace of mind.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does it cost? All of our HIV and STI testing services are provided completely free of charge. We believe that financial barriers should never stand in the way of your health.
Is my information private? Absolutely. We adhere to strict HIPAA compliance and confidentiality protocols. Your results and personal information will never be shared with outside parties without your explicit, written consent.
Do I need an appointment? While we highly recommend booking an appointment to ensure you are seen quickly, we do welcome walk-ins during our testing hours (Tuesday–Thursday and Saturday). Please note that walk-in availability depends on staff coverage.
What if my test results are positive? You are not alone. If a test comes back positive, our team provides immediate "linkage to care." This means we help you navigate the next steps, connect you with compassionate medical providers, and offer the emotional support you need to manage your health moving forward.
